Led by Dr. Mary Huffman, a Hickory Native who graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BSBA degree in finance and then from UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2009, she first began her practice in Lincolnton for a year and has been practicing in Morganton ever since. She also owns Foothills Dental, serving communities across 4 locations between Morganton, Lenoir, and Taylorsville.

Sleep Morganton is a specialized sleep therapy clinic, born from Dr. Huffman’s deeply personal journey. When her twin children were infants, they struggled with tongue and lip ties, yet no local care was available. Forced to travel hours for treatment, she experienced firsthand the challenges families face in finding specialized care. Determined to change that, Dr. Huffman founded Sleep Morganton to ensure families in Morganton and Central NC have access to expert care for both children and adults with specific oral needs.
